Payback Time is a calypso song by Toronto’s King Cosmos that addresses the issue of reparation for the centuries of suffering endured by African-Americans in the United States.

Exploring Payback Time is a 30-minute AML podcast that explores the song’s issues, codes and conventions through an interview with King Cosmos. The Payback Time Study Guide provides lesson ideas and the lyrics.
