Associate Teacher Appreciation Night
This event is a partnership between the AML, the School-University Partnership Office at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and the National Film Board.  The appreciation night is held to celebrate those Associate teachers who work with teacher candidates during their practicum placements throughout the year.  The event will feature the new online Screening Room at NFB.ca that provides free home viewing of over 700 productions, films, trailers and clips from the NFB’s world-renowned collection.

Feature Film and Popular Culture: Stories for the Classroom
This event was held on November 6th at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, and is now available as a webcast.  The panel discussion featured: Jesse Wente, CBC film critic; Kristine Collins, NFB; and media educator Chris Worsnop.  After the panel presentation, a discussion focusing on using film in the classroom was held for elementary and secondary teachers.
